Time to celebrate! Join me and the Sisters in Crime Central Virginia and Mysteries by the Sea chapters as we launch the Virginia is for Mysteries Volume II anthology on Saturday, February 27, 2:00-3:30 p.m. at the new Libbie Mill Library in Henrico, Virginia.
We’ll kickoff with an author panel, “Paths to Getting Published: Mystery Authors Tell Their Tales,” followed by a book signing and celebration.
Virginia is for Mysteries Volume II is a collection of nineteen short stories, set in and around the Commonwealth. It features Virginia landmarks and locations such as Virginia Wine Country, the Poe Museum, Richmond’s historic Shockoe Slip, Luray Caverns, Colonial Williamsburg, the Great Dismal Swamp, Nimrod Hall, the Barter Theater, and Mill Mountain, to name a few.
I’m privileged to have my story, “Reunion in Shockoe Slip,” included in this great anthology with Virginia authors Meriah Crawford, Adele Gardner, Debbiann Holmes, Maria Hudgins, Teresa Hewitt Inge, Kristin Kisska, C.B. Lane, Vivian Lawry, Michael McGowan, Kathleen Mix, Jayne Ormerod, Yvonne Quinn Saxon, Rosemary Shomaker, Rosemary Stevens, Linda Thornburg, Heather Baker Weidner, Lee A. Wells, and Ken C. Wingate.
A teaser for “Reunion in Shockoe Slip”:
Thirty years ago, bestselling author Nancy McGregor and Internet security expert Roger Rucker were lovers. One day, they meet by chance in Richmond, Virginia’s historic Shockoe Slip. Their reunion sets off a series of memories and events that end in tragedy.
